It’s been mentioned throughout the ages but I’m going to repeat it here – all politics is local. And so this post is about the local politics of my municipality of Brimbank. While there is the excitement of federal by-elections happening in South Australia and New South Wales and the general elections scheduled for the Northern Territory in August, the more interesting politics is happening in my own backyard.
