My sincerest condolences to the Pratt family. To the media and politicians, in particular, stop ignoring his severe mis-deeds. This, as has been noted by many other commentators, is out right white wash to expunge his mis-deeds from the collective Australian consciousness.

It’s official. I suck at footy tipping. I thought by now I’d have picked more than 2 winners in at least one of the past 5 rounds. I hadn’t officially joined a footy tipping competition until round 3, but who can resist trying to pick the winners for the round among friends and co-workers.

Today (28/04) marks the International Workers’ Memorial Day. It’s an important day. But I wonder how many people have heard of International Workers’ Memorial Day (I can safely assure people that it’s a ‘recognized’ day on the international calendar).
