Conference Aims and Objectives

One of the critical aims of the 9th World Indigenous Women and Wellness Conference is to support women leaders within their communities while building networks and connections that strengthen community life. The conference program focuses on presentations, workshops and forums where issues can be discussed and collaborative approaches taken to achieve real outcomes.

This will be an event where delegates can share wisdom and stories, explore practices that work and collaborate in a supportive environment. The program is designed to motivate healthful and positive life changes and to inspire action and improve confidence. A key aim of the conference is to globalise Indigenous relationships and to enable attendees to shape the direction of their own healthy communities.

This conference provides an exceptional opportunity for you as an individual or organisation to enhance your role as a socially aware and culturally responsible global citizen. If you or your organisations are committed to life-long learning, the expansion of knowledge, and creating positive social change in the economic, education, social and wider structural arenas throughout the local and international communities, the 9th World Indigenous Women and Wellness Conference is an ideal event for you to consider attending.

The conference offers a unique opportunity to meet Indigenous leaders from around the world, share wisdom and knowledge and build strong networks for the future.
