Materials to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to understand and protect their rights were launched last week in Sydney by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner Mick Gooda.
It’s been another year since the world celebrated Human Rights Day. To do my bit to raise awareness about human rights. I’ve joined in the Bloggers Unite community to blog about Human Rights Day 2010. However, with everything that is going on in the world it’s hard to think that any progress is being made. But there are small victories here and there.

A month since the Victorian election,the dust has settled and the victorious Liberal/National Coalition led by Ted Baillieu has won control of both houses. Time enough to consider in more depth the outcomes and the rhetoric spun by the parties and players to-date.
