Follow Up: Who is Premier of Victoria
Last week I posted a simple poll asking people to identify which politician is the Premier of Victoria from a selection of three pictures.
At the start of the poll, there was an indication that people did know who the Premier of Victoria was by sight. Then as the poll continued this changed.
Over the course of a few days the number of votes going to Peter Ryan and Daniel Andrews started increasing. At one point the number of votes for Peter Ryan were well out in front of Ted Baillieu. This changed once the poll was tweeted about the place. In the final couple of days there was a little jostling between Ted Baillieu and Peter Ryan.
But in the end it was Ted Baillieu won the poll. However, while Baillieu might have won the poll, there were more votes for Peter Ryan and Daniel Andrews combined. It suggests that there remains a public profile problem for Ted Baillieu. Unless the Premier is prepared to front the media as being in charge instead of leaving it to his Deputy, he’ll fail to connect with voters as Peter Ryan has such an unpleasant style.
